The space between dimensions is fraught with dangers unforeseen to the world at large. Beings of unfathomable power and innumerable dangers lurk in the blackness, waiting to pounce on wary travelers. Will you be their next meal?
---
Aliens are invading! Quick, battle stations!
Teams, we've got 6 scans of the area, and all of them are giving different results. There's no way we survive this unless we figure out which one is real. Thankfully, we know a little about these aliens - maybe we can use that knowledge to aid us?
When you are ready to begin the challenge, fill out this form. You will be given a password and your time will begin. Use that password to unlock the Challenge 42 subforum, which you can find at the top of the challenges board.
On that board, you will find:
An ancient manuscript containing information about these aliens.
The six scans of the area, labelled A-F.
The scans are of the following region, with a 2x2 Black Hole occupying the center.
You must then use the information you can gather from the manuscript to identify which scan is correct, and for each incorrect scan, give a grid reference of one alien which proves that that scan is false. There may be multiple aliens which prove a scan is incorrect; you still only need to identify one for each scan.
Provide your answers in the following format in your confessional:
SCAN A: CORRECT
SCAN B: A3
SCAN C: L12
SCAN D: B4
SCAN E: C5
SCAN F: F12
You only get one shot - you will not be able to update your submission once you have submitted it. Make sure to Bold your submission, or it will not count. Once you post a bolded submission, the timer will stop and the challenge is over.
Submissions will be scored based on the number of correct answers (maximum score of 6 per player), and the tribe with the most correct answers will win immunity. In the event of a tie, total time taken by the tribe will be the tiebreaker.
We do not expect this challenge to take over 30 minutes, but there will be a 1.5 hour time limit from when you start to when you submit. Failure to submit will result in a score of 0 and a time of 2 hours.
