Honestly Avocado's best and only hope of winning at this point is to sit next to Rey and Cleric, so in a way it does make sense for him to get Bees? Then he just needs to make it T&H next and hope he either wins Immunity or convinces Rey to take him, both of which could be doable.
I don't think this is his reason for targeting Bees, but it is defensible.

tbh if avocado is next to rey and cleric...rey comes in with the advantage, avocado has lost a LOT of win equity with last round. Also Grogu seems to be set on making it avocado next round so they need to win immunity.

Grogu actually needs T&H to be the last non-returnee standing bc Rey's perception is that T&H is the biggest Jury threat in the game. Grogu and Avocado are on around the same level in Rey's mind, on the other hand, with Avocado maybe being slightly below.

Maybe he should be taking Bees instead of Rey just so they can't be against him in Jury. Grogu is right to want Avocado next, and if Rey and Cleric fold and give it to him, they deserve to lose. But if they force a T&H elimination, then things are more spicy.

I don't think Avo is drawing dead against Rey and Cleric. The door is open with a good FTC, which I kinda doubt he has in him but you never know.

Yeah, I think Avo has 2 speeches for FTC, one where they're already defeated (where they have an okay chance depending on the other FTCs) and one where they go "fuck the jury" and the jury just votes against them. But really I'd rather see Grogu or T&H win. I mean I would have preferred a Bees win since they've been the least gamebotty of players that we actually see the thoughts of, but, ya know.

Avocado played an excellent premerge game, and I feel like that should count for something.
I wonder if T&H will vote alone for Rey for the third round in a row.

T/H discussing how they appeal to the jury right now... and the only thing they can come up with is their adaptive gameplay in the merge where they had to perpetually dump every alliance as they kept falling apart is so sad because I think they've forgotten their pre-merge game which is definitely noteworthy.

Eh, the premerge is always so distant and a precursor to the merge that it gets outweighed by merge play heavily. Also "I played great early and then I faltered heavily" is a lot less compelling than "I faltered early but then came back to play well", since it shows growth in play, not destruction. That isn't to say there isn't a benefit to a good premerge. It's just that the benefit is that when you reach merge you walk in with a better position than those who did a poor premerge.

Also like usually a vast majority of the jury just, wasn't there for your premerge play, or rather, was only there for part of it, so they're not going to register it the same for the part that everyone was there for.

Games used to reveal IDs as people were booted. I think that's fun. It's nice to see some meta commentary from specs about how someone is playing vs how they usually play. We've done a bit with Bees, Avo, Dark Rey and Hare bc we all know who they are. As a player I find that kind of commentary helpful Wait we know who Hare is? Like I have my suspicions but I'm far from certain on them. I second this! Someone said Awoo and I have no idea who that is so I've just believed it.

I've been assuming Awoo but I guess I could be wrong.

For me what premerge is good for is building relationships, which are the kinds of relationships which get you Jury votes. In the merge, there are so many people to talk with that it's hard to build those tight bonds. Especially for early Jurors, premerge social game really matters. Strategic moves, yeah no one cares what you did premerge unless it was particularly noteworthy or impressive. But on a social level, I think Jurors care more about premerge and the way you made them feel early in the game than they admit.
