I am very curious to see Rey's speech. Yeah, I think writing it in a way of, "The story of this game was one of the returnees coming back and making the most of that second chance. There were just three of us when jury started, but we let the two sides exchange fire until we were able to wrest control of the game and dominate, all three of us marching to the final five. I was a key part in making that happen, and this game with this story is precisely the moment for a returnee to finally claim the win." And then yada yada through the game summary keeping it brief and then hit that point again at the end, and you win.

wasnt expecting avo to get many votes anyway but bard sharing avo's dig on dave is gonna burn the jury further on him. i guess avo shouldn't have said that, whoops! it will be sad if/when avocado doesn't get bard's vote I know! It's so sad to see Avocado talking about how Bard is going to rally votes for them, and then have Bard talk about how they're probably not going to vote for Avocado.

I know! It's so sad to see Avocado talking about how Bard is going to rally votes for them, and then have Bard talk about how they're probably not going to vote for Avocado. i get stuck on exactly this sort of stuff when im a juror, like, "oh man this player is probably counting on my vote... but i really think this other player played a great game, argh what to do" I've come around on this, but I believe that you have no obligation to vote for the person you think played objectively the best, and sometimes if someone was close to you in the game and you were impressed by their game, that can and maybe should be enough for your vote. So for example, I recently was the only person to cast a Jury vote for someone who I think played a great strategic game, but kind of like Avocado he burned a lot of people and didn't have good social relationships, which definitely hurt him with most of the other Jurors. But for me, our social relationship was great, and I felt it was unfair to hold other jurors' negative experiences against him. I'm voting based on gameplay, but also based on my personal experience of someone's gameplay. If you start trying to objectively judge someone's game without taking your experience into account, you run the risk of letting other Jurors unfairly bias you.

I just imagine the finalist in their confessional trying to break down the votes and they're like, "Well, at the very least I'd better have Owen Wilson as Kenny Bostick" and then if I actually do like them I don't want to let them down and not come through for them, heh. In my experiences it actually has been that kind of thing too. I think it's fine to go either way, though, and I think I actually would (and probably should) be willing to disappoint them if the case just plain wasn't there, but so far I've always found justification to come through for them.

It's....fine? It falls into the summary of event kind of opening and the formatting makes me sad (you don't need different fonts, just different headings), but it does say the important things. Unfortunately Rey also explains all the times she didn't get her way...and that might seal it.

My eyes!
Seriously though, I wanted to see her go into more detail. She didn't talk about her actual time in the hole at all. She could have at least mentioned the alliance she formed with Cleric, and the bond she formed with Snow Leopard that helped her survive advantagegeddon. I think she could have gone into more detail on the Bard and Maggie boots too, because they were her best moves, but they got the same amount of space as all the other rounds. I also noticed a couple typos.

Spec access to Jury confs has been removed, so as to keep some mystery around the result!
