I hope you're all enjoying your not so cozy tribes, everyone! Because your first challenge is a bit of a doozy. Or at least, it was going to be before we lost half our information. So we're going to do this with what we have. --- To start this challenge, start with the google form HERE. Once you enter your information, you will be asked to do 5 tasks which I'm sure you've all seen before: - A Jigsaw Puzzle
- A Maze
- A Word Scramble Puzzle
- A Word Search
- And Finally, a Cryptogram
In the event of a tie, there is an additional tiebreaker question added:
What will be the average submission time? The player closest to the answer wins the tiebreak.
Please submit a screenshot of all of the above. Every submission must come with a tab of this game as well or it will be marked as incorrect.
Just in case you need help with image submission, grab a screenshot of the completed task (ex. the print screen button on your keyboard). Any submissions that don't include a tab of Barely Survivor visible in the screenshot will be invalid. Once your screenshot has been grabbed, save it to your computer and upload it to a site like imgur. The mods recommend Gyazo to grab screenshots and have them automatically upload to the internet. Don't worry, none of these will be too challenging! But you have to go fast, and let me tell you why. It's simple really. See, we started well ahead of schedule, so we don't have room for you all here - we need to get rid of a lot of you. So every tribe will be going to Tribal Council. The player on each tribe with the fastest time to correctly complete all five puzzles wins immunity. In the event no one on a tribe completes all 5 puzzles, the player who completes the most will win, with time being used as a tiebreaker. If multiple people finish, the fastest completer will win.
This Tribal Council will be a bit different, too. Fourth place in their respective tribe will not vote. If first and second can come to a decision on who to vote out, the player they agree to will be voted out. If they cannot agree, then third place gets the sole vote.
Just in case you need that in bullet point form:
- Every tribe is going to TC.
- First place scorer on every tribe will be immune.
- Fourth place will not vote in this TC.
- If first and second place vote the same player, that player will be voted out.
- If first and second place cannot decide, third place gets the sole deciding vote.
You have 24 hours, friends. Get to it.

Just between you and me? These bankers would probably make more sense if they were police officers. Do you think we paid for these gems? --- In life, just like in Survivor, you need to move forward. But you're always being blocked by something. In this case, you're being blocked by a bunch of angry bankers, because those gems you have are totally not yours. Why are there bankers blocking your path, and why do they care about your gems? Good questions, don't bother worrying about them. However, these bankers are rather merciful. If you give them the least amount of gems, you'll be removed from the challenge. This can result in multiple failures at the same time. There are 17 bankers, and you have 1,500 gems total each. However, some old habits die hard, so you'll be facing another double elimination. The person on both tribes who makes it the farthest wins immunity, and both tribes will attend Tribal Council. If multiple people are removed from the challenge at the same time and this causes no one on a tribe to be left, no one on that tribe will be immune. For clarity's sake, you are competing against everyone, but only one person from each tribe will be Immune. You have 24 hours, friends. One last thing - you may absolutely talk to your tribe about this challenge. Lie, cheat, and steal your way to Immunity like real thieves! You are still not allowed to PM the other tribe, however. So if you wish for the other tribe to know what you're doing, you must post it in this thread. --- REDEMPTION ISLAND POST-- Friends in Redemption Island, your challenge will be the same as the one in the challenge thread with a few changes. There will be 10 bankers and 700 gemstones. In the event everyone would be eliminated from a gemstone, that banker is skipped and all players continue. In the event where more than one player makes it all the way through, no Immunity is earned.

Here at Survivor: Barely Survivor, we fully believe that gambling is an activity that allows for rest and relaxation - and the loss of all your money. So let's just skip the gambling all together - we're already broke as it is. --- Your challenge today will begin when you click the google document HERE. Once you enter your information, you'll see 5 sudoku puzzles - you only need to complete three of them. Feel free to complete any three that you wish, but be warned - some are harder than others! The tribe with the fastest average time will win Immunity for your tribe. Yes, that's right! Finally, tribal Immunity! If you don't know what Sudoku is, or need a reminder how it works, please read this page. You have 24 hours to complete this challenge. Do not talk about this challenge with your tribe. ---REDEMPTION ISLAND POST--- Islanders, today your challenge is the exact same as the one in the challenge forum - no differences at all. ---MOD INFO---

We here at Survivor: Barely Survivor sincerely request that you keep all blades, bows, arrows, lightsabers, and light pistols away from the challenge grounds - and your tribemate's bodies. --- In a few ways, Survivor is like being an investigator. You need to be able to tell the good guys apart from the bad guys, and how well you do on that can mean life or death. Well, today we're going to see how well you can do! Today you have to put your ability to profile your tribemates to the test. Here are a few positive traits for everyone: Friendly, Cheerful, Eloquent, Charismatic, Loyal, Playful, Intelligent Some negative traits: Arrogant, Cynical, Subservient, Controlling, Flaky, Reckless, Abrasive And a few extras: The Mastermind, The Brawn, The Villain, The Informant, The Hitman, The Influencer, The Double Agent Every person in your tribe that is not sitting out must be assigned a trait/role from each list, and you may not use any trait/role more than once. The goal is to assign each player the trait/role they assigned themselves. If you score a single match, you earn a point. Two matches gives you two points and a bonus point, and matching every answer to a player gives you three points and two bonus points! For an example, if Supervior Silverclaw matched The Mastermind to OperatorMeme, Supervisor Silverclaw would earn one point for his tribe. If he also matched Charismatic and Abrasive to Architect Pine, he'd score two points and a bonus point for his tribe. You may not talk to your tribemates about this challenge. The tribe with the most points overall wins Immunity, and ties will be broken by who has more bonus points. You have 24 hours to profile. --REDEMPTION ISLAND POST-- Islanders, we've had a spectator profile each of you (except Snow Leopard, who as HoH will not be competing in this challenge) from the following list; three words for each of you, one from each list). They were not allowed to use the same word more than once across the whole tribe. Positive: Eloquent, Charismatic, Loyal, Playful, Intelligent Negative: Abrasive, Subservient, Flaky, Reckless, Cynical Extras: The Mastermind, The Villain, The Informant, The Hitman, The Double Agent You now need to also label yourself and all your tribemates (except for Snow Leopard) with one word from each list. Every person on Redemption Island must be assigned a trait/role from each list, and you may not use any trait/role more than once. The goal is to assign each player the traits the spectator assigned them. If you score a single match, you earn a point. Two matches gives you two points and a bonus point, and matching every answer to a player gives you three points and two bonus points! All ties will still be broken by bonus points, but if a tie somehow persists no one will earn the Power of Veto.

Please, please don't hide in places the mod team can't find you. We've lost staffers to invisible pits already trying to set this up. --- After the tribe swap is finished, both tribes will gain access to a sub forum. You may post whatever you want there (within the rules of MafiaScum) for the next day. In fact, I'd recommend you to! So long as you post THIS IMAGE exactly once. You must post it, and you may not alter it. We'll send both tribes a copy of the image shortly, as well. Once the image is posted, confirm with a moderator that the image placed is valid. Once the image has been placed, you must coordinate with a moderator to make sure the image is valid and possible to find. Then, coordinate with your tribe when to go seeking! Because your job is to find the image the other tribe placed in their sub forum. The mods will do our best to be available for whenever you are ready to start seeking. If you'd prefer a list of how this challenge will happen: - Once the swap is complete, the mods will give both tribes a sub forum and different copies of the same image to hide.
- You may post whatever you want in the sub forum for 24 hours. You must post the image, and you may not alter it. YOU MAY NOT POST ANY MODIFIED VERSIONS OF THE ORIGINAL IMAGE.
- Confirm with a mod once the image is placed that it can be found and isn't altered.
- From that point forwards, you will have 24 more hours to get the tribe together to go on a scavenger hunt for the image.
- You will be timed from when you got access to the other tribe's sub forum to when you find the image. Fastest time wins Immunity.
In order to finish the challenge, a tribe member must post a screenshot of the found image in a thread specifically marked CHALLENGE 5. The tribe who does this fastest will win Immunity. You are on the honour system to not edit any posts made that are related to this challenge. If you are caught editing your tribe will be penalized. You have 24 hours to hide the image, and another 24 hours to seek. --REDEMPTION ISLAND POST-- Your challenge will function slightly differently this time. The spectators, lovely as they are, have already hid the image in a forum specifically for you. When you wish to start seeking, notify the mods and we will give you access to the forum. You have 48 hours from now to find it. If you go over the current best time, we will stop you, so you don't keep looking.

Aren't you proud of us? For once, our staff was actually competent and built a whole tower in twenty-four hours! Just... don't look at it very hard. --- ...Bees? will be sitting out of this challenge for Maroon. Alright friends, it's time to climb a tower. All you have to do is make it to the top and grab the Immunity Necklace for your tribe! Sounds easy, right? ot really. You'll have 45 minutes to complete the challenge when you start. To start, post the following, exactly, in your confessional. [Player] climbs tower Level 1Every time you post this, you gain exactly one point. Post it as much as you want within 45 minutes. Once you feel like you've posted it enough, you can ascend to the next level. And since you're racing to the top, you can't backtrack! Move to a new level, you stay there. There are a few problems here though. As you keep climbing, the harder it gets. Makes sense, right? Well, here's how many times you need to post to earn a point in each level: Level 1 (Red) - 1 post per pointLevel 2 (Blue) - 1 post per pointLevel 3 (Green) - 2 posts per pointLevel 4 (Orange) - 2 posts per pointLevel 5 (Purple) - 3 posts per pointLevel 6 (Hot Pink) - 3 posts per pointLevel 7 (Grey) - 4 posts per pointLevel 8 (Brown) - 4 posts per pointWhen you make your posts, please use the colours indicated in brackets for each level - for simplicity's sake, the name in the bracket will provide the necessary colour. You can discuss this challenge with your tribe. On levels 1 through 5, the person with the least points on that level will be eliminated. On levels 6, 7, and 8, two people will be eliminated. If at any point people tie for elimination, the round prior will tiebreak. This will also be used to tiebreak for the challenge winner, if necessary. You are on the honour system to not edit any posts made that are related to this challenge. If you are caught editing your tribe will be penalized. You have 24 hours, everyone! ---REDEMPTION ISLAND POST--- As normal, you will be competing in a version of the same challenge - there are only 4 levels, you have 20 minutes, and those levels will be require the following number of posts to earn a point: Level 1 (Red) - 1 post per pointLevel 2 (Blue) - 2 posts per pointLevel 3 (Green) - 3 posts per pointLevel 4 (Orange) - 4 posts per point

What do you mean Christmas is already over? We bought all the Christmas stuff months ago! Well, now we have to use it. And you also forgot the chestnuts? What do we even pay you for?!--- So, it's time to get creative. Instead of roasting chestnuts on the fire, we'll have to roast the mods. Not literally! I'm not allowing cannibalism on our Christian Survivor Island. Just with words. That's all. What you all need to submit in your confessional is three roasts of the mods. Get creative! Our spectator judges will score you based on how good your roasts are - to be more specific, they will rank all player's roasts from best to worst. The player from both tribes with the best overall placement on their roasts will win Individual Immunity. Yes, Individual Immunity. Both tribes are going to TC. What are you standing here for? Get to roasting! You have 24 hours. After the deadline is up, the spectators will have 24 hours to decide. --REDEMPTION ISLAND POST-- Your challenge, once again, will be the exact same as the challenge thread post. Additionally, the vending machines will be removed after this eviction. Buy those items soon!

Listen, we have this Christmas stuff, and we're going to make use of it, dammit! --- Trivia time! How much do you think you know about Christmas? I sure hope it's enough, because if you don't, you may be jingling out of the game. To start, click the link HERE. You will then fill out the form with your answers before submitting it. Outside sources and talking to your tribemates about the challenge is distinctly banned. Oh, and before I forget - this is for Individual Immunity. You'll all be entering Tribal Council again today, and after TC the exilees will be joining two of the three tribes shortly thereafter. Which tribes, you ask? You'll learn that in due time. Be good boys and girls and you'll find out! You have 24 hours to complete this challenge. You may not use outside resources for this challenge. I think you'll find this challenge ferry impressive! --- I think it's time for a quick vacation - don't you agree? Wait, you want to know where we're going? That's a secret! Your challenge has nothing to do with how we're travelling at all. Nope. But here's what it will involve! On the board ahead of you, you'll see a bunch of words - well, what would be a bunch of words. The first letter is available for all of you to see in all of them. Then, in your confessionals, you'll be guessing words for each of these. If you have any letters correct and in the correct position for that word, we'll show you. Likewise, if you have correct letters in the wrong position, we'll let you know. You may make 20 lists of guesses total, after which you will be stopped. While you aren't allowed to discuss the words themselves with your tribes, you're more than free to post about strategy as long as you have not yet started the challenge. Every word is a real, non-proper noun word in English that can be found on merriam-webster.com. And because these terms may be a little out to sea for most of you, any outside reference sources are allowed! No solvers at all, though. There is also a tiebreaker question to answer individually. In the event of a tie, the closest player to the correct answer wins the challenge for their tribe. In the event of further ties, we will pick the answer that is uniquely closest. You are on the honour system to not edit any posts made that are related to this challenge. If you are caught editing your tribe will be penalized. The two tribes that takes the least guesses win Immunity. The tribe that takes the most guesses will be headed to Tribal Council. You have 24 hours. Good luck! In short: - Submit a list of guesses for every word you haven't gotten correct yet. - Mods will tell you which letters are correct, and if you have any in the right place. - Continue doing this until you have either submitted your 20th list, or guessed every word correctly. - The total guesses you made (each word in a list counts as a guess) is your score. Each word not identified after the 20th list adds an extra 5 guesses (for a total of 25 per unidentified word). - If you are not finished by deadline, we'll count that as 25 guesses for each of the words you didn't get in time. - The tribe with the highest average number of guesses will be sent to Tribal Council. 1)T****** 2)B**** 3)D***** 4)T**** 5)B**** 6)A**** 7)C**** 8)C***** 9)P*** 10) C***** Tiebreak question: What is the total number of guesses that all players will take?--REDEMPTION ISLAND POST-- Islanders, you'll be playing this challenge individually. That is the only change. --WORDS-- 1)Trysail 2)Bream 3)Dodger 4)Thole 5)Bilge 6)Astern 7)Chine 8)Camber 9)Poop 10)Careen

Looks like our little excursion has hit a bit of a snag, folks. Our ship is in need of some repairs - looks like we've been shipwrecked. ---- While we're here, why not make ourselves look good for our rescuers? That's right, we're going to create deserted island fashion! What you're going to do is make an outfit that's both fashionably and useful if you'd be hypothetically stranded on a deserted island and write a 100 word summary about it. You have 24 hours to submit this. You may search through the internet or text media as your heart desires to find the pieces you want. Our judges will then have 24 hours to rank your submissions from best to worst - the best two ranked submissions will win Immunity! But that's not all. We're also playing for reward folks - if you are the first or second best submission, you'll gain access to a private forum just for both of you to talk. Which you'll need it, because both of you will be picking tribes!. To be completely clear, here is what you need: - An image of every item you wish to be judged
- A description of why you chose this outfit in 100 words or less
I can't wait to see what you've all come up with! --REDEMPTION ISLAND POST-- Flatlanders, you'll be playing the same challenge as those in shipwreck exactly.

So... you remember when we said earlier you weren't supposed to be here yet? Yeah, this is why... We're gonna need your help with this one. --- So, here's your task today, tribes. We need you to make a challenge for the other tribe! What's that, you want "wait until time runs out" for the other tribe? No, we can't have that. There's a few requirements for you to fit in. You know, for fairness purposes! 1 - The challenge may not involve waiting for any period of time. 2 - The challenge must be individually completed. 3 - The designed challenge must revolve around critical thinking (EX. A Logic Puzzle). 4 - The other tribe must know everything they need to know before the challenge starts [otherwise known as the moderators won't intervene for any purpose other than to let them know they've completed the challenge]. 5 - When your tribe submits the challenge, they must also submit the answer. 6 - This challenge must be scored via time completed. Anyone that takes an hour to finish will be immediately stopped and given the max time of one hour. The challenge must be completable in under an hour. You have 24 hours to create this challenge for the enemy tribe, at which point you will have 24 more hours to complete a semi-live challenge that will not take more than an hour. In order to ensure fairness, we've assembled a team of scummers to complete the challenge as well - if more members of this team cannot complete the challenge within an hour than can, your team will be immediately disqualified. If both tribes are disqualified, the winner will be determined by coin flip. The tribe that completes the other tribe's challenge with the fastest overall time wins Immunity! You are on the honour system to not edit any posts made that are related to this challenge. If you are caught editing your tribe will be penalized.---REDEMPTION ISLAND--- I'm going to ask you all to wait for a day while the tribes complete their challenge design. At that point you will need to complete both challenges within 2 hours (1 hour for each tribe). The player with the fastest overall time wins Immunity.

Who decided that having a casino on this Survivor Island was a good use of our time again? This is the second time it's come up.
--- We're probably all familiar with Blackjack, right? Well just in case we aren't, here's how it's played. This is important, because you'll be making a bot to run a few hands, so you'll need to know. First, you'll all need to bet. Wait, you have no money? Urgh... the budget's a bit short.... have 20 cents. The minimum bet on any given hand is 3 cents. Before everyone has bet though, everyone will get two cards. Each card is worth its face value. Jacks, Kings, and Queens are worth 10. Aces are worth 1 or 11, whichever is better for the player. So a 5 and a King would be worth 15 points. If you ever go over 21 points, you lose the round and your bet. If you have two cards that total 21 points (aka and Ace and 10, Jack, Queen, or King), you have Blackjack and win your hand immediately. This applies to the dealer as well (and if both your bot and the dealer score blackjack, you'll tie). If not, you have a few options: HIT - This draws you an extra card STAND - You stop drawing cards DOUBLE DOWN - Doubles your current bet and draws you one last card SPLIT - If you have two cards of the same kind (so two 4s or 2 Kings, etc.), you can split the hand into two and play it like it was two distinct hands. You'll also be playing against an AI dealer - they play with one card open for all to see, and one card face down. If the dealer ever has an Ace, 10, Jack, Queen, or King, they check their face down card for blackjack after the bets are in. The dealer always hits on 16 or less and stands on 17 or more. If your score beats the dealer without going over, you win twice what you bet. If you get a Blackjack, you win three times what you bet. If you score the same as the dealer, you get your bet back. Here is all the information you have to use to make your bot: - Your current hand
- Your current cash total
- The dealer's current hand, minus his face down card
- How every prior hand between you and the dealer has played out in full
Your bots are also all old and out of date - sorry, that's all we could get - but that means you don't have access to anything the other players are doing, their cards, or their cash total.
If at any point you cannot make the minimum bet, you are removed from the challenge. When submitting your bot, you may also submit when you would like to cash out. When you cash out, you will not play any more hands, but you will not be removed from the challenge. We'll play 10 hands - the player's bot with the most money wins Immunity! In case of a tie, the tied player's bot that had the single biggest payout will win. If a tie persists, no players will win Immunity. You may not discuss this challenge with other players. One last thing - any pennies you have leftover will be used in the next challenge. You have 24 hours to build your bots! --REDEMPTION ISLAND POST-- Your challenge today is the same one that's in the challenge forum exactly. No differences.

So we're shutting down...kind of.
See, we've got a plan to salvage all of this. Some new...investors...have come forward, and are prepared to help us reorganize. Most of the plan involves shell companies, stonks, and other things you plebs are too dumb busy to understand worry yourselves with. We're going to buy up all the liquidated supplies and materials from the dissolving LSG Co at a cut rate, and bring them on over to the new digs.
Welcome to what I could loosely describe as a challenge!
We'll take care of all the construction and office supplies, but there are a bunch of mystery boxes from Lost and Found. We're still a bit short on cash, but here's $25. Call it an advance - we'll be deducting it from your pay going forward. Use the cash to buy things at the liquidation sale. No, I don't know why they're gift-wrapped! Stop asking questions!
Inside these boxes are different advantages you can use for the game. The boxes are all wrapped very nicely, so if you're good at guessing you may be able to tell what's inside it too! Just post in your confessional how much money you're spending on each gift, and it's yours. Assuming you don't get out-bid of course.
Wait, you guys still have those pennies around? Jeez, what the poor will gamble with. If you submit those as well, they can break ties. So if you both spend $10 on one box, but someone also spends 5¢ when you don't spend any, the box goes to the someone else. In the event of a further tie, the highest unique bid wins the box.
Just be aware that, aside from the Immunity, any item in the boxes will expire at the Final Five unless you're told otherwise. You have 24 hours everyone!
This cube-shaped box is about ten inches on each side, and weighs perhaps five pounds. It rattles faintly when you shake it. It is wrapped in plain white paper, and is tied with a simple black bow. Truly a beautiful and understated wrapping job. Oh, and some vandal has hastily scrawled, "Immunity" in gold Sharpie across the top.
------------------------
Box #2:
This shapeless box is truly enormous! At least fifty inches on each side, its bulbous flanks are covered in a variety of papers taped together. In fact, as you walk around it, you think you see the wrappings of most of the other auction prizes represented. There is a bit of fine white paper, there is some navy blue, and there some stripes. Despite its size, the package lifts easily, and likely weighs less than one pound. ------------------------
Box #3:
This box is...not a box. It is in fact, a plain white envelope, sealed to prevent tampering. Mysterious!
------------------------
Box #4:
This cylindrical package is quite long, measuring over eight feet in length, but is a mere two inches in diameter. It is wrapped in navy blue paper and adorned along its length with circular white emblems containing the light-blue Star of Life and Rod of Asclepius.
------------------------Box #5:
This round, flattened box is perhaps one inch tall, and seven inches in diameter. It is very light, and you hear tissue paper swishing about inside it. It has been wrapped with metallic blue-and-red paper depicting a minute puzzle-piece pattern, and is tied with silver string.
------------------------
Box #6:
This pyramid-shaped box seems to bend the eye with its dizzying pattern of stripes. Approximately thirty inches on a side, the container is exceptionally heavy, but silent when shaken. The multi-colored stripes spiral upward to converge at the apex of the pyramid. ------------------------ Box #7:
This box is exactly the same size, shape, color, weight, and even texture of a standard red building brick. Indeed, if not for the seam running down the length of the box, you might mistake it for having come directly from the construction site!
------------------------
Box #8:
This cube-shaped box is about ten inches on each side, and weighs perhaps five pounds. A heavy clicking sound happens when you shake it. It is wrapped in a dark grey paper, and covered in silvery magnifying glass emblems. A sleek blue ribbon is tied around the box.
------------------------Box #9:
This container is in fact a pair of wooden spheres attached by a fine brass chain. Each is about the size of an apple, and are made of hardwood polished to a handsome sheen. They are surprisingly heavy, and make no sound when shaken. You see no means to open the spheres.
------------------------Box #9:
This upright box is perhaps three inches by three inches at the base, and nearly a foot high. It is quite light, and rattles distinctly when shaken. It latches at the top, and is not wrapped, but is instead braced securely with copper wire. A pattern of bank sacks overflowing with gold coins has been hand-painted onto the box with exacting precision.
------------------------Box #10:
This large box's wrapping is patterned in squares of bronze, silver, gold, and platinum. It's very light, is shut with a hatch, and is tied together with shines like diamonds when under the light that is done in a simple but elegant bow. When you pick up the package and shake it, it seems like whatever is inside is much smaller than the box itself. ------------------------Box #11:
This box is in fact a gift bag, stitched closed. It is approximately twelve inches tall by four at the base, and is oddly bifurcated. The stiff paper parts into a "V" shape about half way up, with the tips bending away from one another. The bag is colored a bright yellow, decorated with a black lightning bolt.
------------------------Box #12:
This small, grey box looks like it met an unfortunate end underneath something very heavy. However, there is are two clocks attached to it, one with a 12 hour countdown, and the other with counting down from 36 hours. The 12 hour clock is counting down, but the 36 hour one is not.
This box will be given away after 12 hours instead of 24. The winner of this box will not be publicly announced, but will get the power to make a game altering decision that must be made within 36 hours. If no one bets on this box, the mods will send the box to a player at random. A second Immunity challenge will take place during this time.
--TO REDEMPTION ISLAND--
Flatlanders, one of you is about to re-enter the game. But who, you ask?
I can't tell you. What I can tell you though, is that you should start drafting your cases to re-enter the game now, because in twelve hours you'll all be pleading your case.
Spend your money (and trade your items) now, because you won't have them in 12 hours. ---REWARDS--- 1 - Immunity 2 - Merge Splitter OR Double Vote 3 - Challenge Advantage 4 - Targeted SWP 5 - An Idol Piece from RI #2 6 - Vote Steal 7 - 1-Round Exile 8 - Idol Detector 9 - Double Vote 10 - An Idol Piece from RI #2 11 - Avoidance Advantage --OPENING THE GIFTS-- #1: >>>Opening the white box, you are delighted to find the immunity necklace hidden inside! But wait, what's this...there's a note: "No elimination this round, so you'll be safe next round." #2: >>>As you tear off the paper, you find more and more paper. It seems that the package's size was a decoy, as this prize is mostly tissue paper. At the center is a tiny plastic box with a bright red button. The note reads: >>>>>>Press this button during Tribal Council to gain an additional vote. >>>>>>Press this button during Tribal Council to split the tribe. In the next round, the merge tribe will divide into two factions of your choice and compete for Tribal Immunity. If there would be an odd number of competitors, you must also select someone who isn't you that will enter Exile for the round. This item is a legacy advantage, and MUST be sent to another player who is still in the game if you get voted out. If not used, the item will use itself at the Final 6, creating random tribes.#3: >>>Slicing open the seal on the envelope, you dump out a gift certificate into your hand. On expensive cardstock reads the following: "Present this gift certificate to the mods at the time of your vote to receive an advantage on the next challenge. This must be used prior to the Final Six vote." #4: >>>You peel back the paper on your prize to reveal a long cardboard tube. Popping the cap off of the end, you shake out its contents to reveal what appears to be a long spear or javelin with a syringe on the end. This medical device may be thrown at a target on your tribe within the first two hours of a Tribal Council vote to place them in stasis, giving them Safety Without Power. They will be unable to vote at Tribal Council. You may not target yourself with such an unwieldy device. #5: >>>You eagerly cut the string and take the top off of the round box. Under the tissue paper is an idol piece! It may not look like it, but this can count as a Hidden Immunity Idol! As long as you have at least one piece when the rest no longer exist in the game, you’ll be able to play your Idol Piece as a Hidden Immunity Idol. #6: >>>You eagerly tear the paper away from the pyramid, and unfold its triangular sides, which conveniently fold down to reveal...a drone? Reading the instructions, you discover it is a Vote-Stealer! This item may be played during Tribal Councils on a target player. When played, you must specify whose vote you are stealing. Their original vote will appear, but will be crossed out and replaced. Your identity will not be revealed. #7: >>>You eagerly pry open the seam running down the center of the box and open it to find...a note? "Congratulations! You have purchased...a brick. You may throw this brick at another player on your tribe when you submit your vote against them. If they are not voted out, they will be exiled for the next round, returning after the next vote." #8: >>>You pull the ribbon off and eagerly shred the paper. Nestled within the box is a complex-looking Idol Detector, replete with knobs, dials, and readouts. This item may be played at any time on a target player. When played, you will be made aware whether the player has an Idol, Idol Pieces, or neither. #9: >>>After winning the wooden spheres, you rush them home to open them. It takes you some time, but eventually you get the idea to swing the spheres by the chain into each other. With a sharp 'crack,' the wood splits down the middle, and two pieces of parchment flutter to the ground. On the parchment is written "DOUBLE" and "VOTE". This item may be played during Tribal Council to gain an additional vote. #10: >>>Carefully you unwind the wire and unlatch the lid. Flipping it open, you see that an idol piece has been rattling around inside! It may not look like it, but this can count as a Hidden Immunity Idol! As long as you have at least one piece when the rest no longer exist in the game, you’ll be able to play your Idol Piece as a Hidden Immunity Idol. #11: >>>You tear open the bag, pulling the paper apart by the bifurcations. Within is...an Avoidance Advantage! This item may be played at any time on a target player. The next time you end up in a swap with 2 or more tribes, you will be guaranteed to not swap with that player. You may change your target at any time. #12 >>> The small grey box takes no time to open up at all. What you find inside is... a bunch of notes? In a few moments, you're going to get a forum with 3 players who have been previously voted out, and will be able to converse with them before making an important decision. You are not allowed to discuss this with other players.

This challenge was not used. We really need to stop including gambling in our challenges... loud yelling to the background: I TOLD THEM THREE TIMES WE DON'T ENDORSE GAMBLING!--- We've all heard of Gacha, right? Those things you spend thousands of dollars on something we don't really need but oh man do you really really need it right now? Well, we've got a special something for you today! Your Immunity is located inside this here Gacha machine - but your selections won't be random at all! No, you get to choose which Gacha you pull! Here's how the challenge works: - In this Gacha Machine, there are 9 capsules. One for every player, minus [X] who won Immunity from the Gift Exchange, and [Y] who just came back from Redemption Island and is Immune.
- You may, at any point, post the message :CapsuleX: in this thread, where X is a number from 1 to 9. The forum will then tell you if you've won Immunity.
- There are clues scattered across the forum that will help you on your journey to Immunity.
- Manipulation, deceit, and working together with others is absolutely encouraged! It's like actually being ripped off!
If at any point you post a :CapsuleX: message outside of this thread you are immediately disqualified. You are on the honour system to not edit any posts made that are related to this challenge. If you are caught editing your tribe will be penalized. You have 24 hours everyone. Get to work! ---FOR THE MODS--- 1. The number of moderators in this game is not the number you seek. 2. This number may be considered lucky, but it won't win you immunity. 3. Prime numbers will not prime you for Immunity. 4. To win this challenge it pays to be square. 5. It's not easy being odd. 6. Cubed numbers don't have Immunity. 7. The first perfect number is too perfect to help you win. 8. Beethoven wrote this many symphonies, but he didn't win Immunity. In order: - Rules out 3 - Rules out 7 - Rules out 2,3,5,7 - Gives 4 or 9 as winners - Rules out 1,3,5,7,9 - Rules out 8 - Rules out 6 - Rules out 9

The staff at Survivor: Barely Survivor would like to sincerely apologize if you do have a face only a mother would love. --- It's been a whole... 5 challenges since we had a creative challenge? Since we know you love them, we're bringing it back! I hope you have your image editors of choice ready! Your job today is to take the avatars of the mods from Mafiascum and make them ugly, but recognizable. All three of them. Feel free to do whatever you want with them, as long as our lovely judges can tell who each avatar belongs to. The player our spectator judges decide have the overall ugliest avatars wins Immunity! You have 24 hours to make our avatars truly ugly, and our judges will have 24 hours to decide. That said, if our judges can get them in within 2 hours, we will start TC immediately instead of making you all wait a day. Silverclaw | Pine | CaptainMeme
