Also like straight up, this kind of challenge I don't even know where to begin with. It is far too broad and open-ended for me to even begin to suggest anything. So, I am not likely to be any help with it, sorry

This is the only thought I have, we want something that is low variance. We want something that will take everyone between 50-55 minutes. Like Sudoku would be bad because some people are really good and some are really bad. But like, what about a reaching a certain score in cookieclicker? Something like that would be good I think.

I lied, I have *an* idea. What if we built one of those challenges that start with some sort of puzzle where the answer is either some letter or a number, and they have to take that answer and plug it into an imgur link which is missing that thing in order to be a valid link. And then when they post that imgur link, it gives them another puzzle that they then have to solve for the same sort of thing to get the next link, and there's like a series of idk, 10 of them? Something like that. Or alternatively, a less complicated version of this challenge from Disney Domination: disneyworlddom.freeforums.net/thread/416/final-challenge-pt-monster-doku

I'm down with that, I don't know if multiple stages are allowed under the rules?

I bet there's a way we can find out Also, apparently we can actually rip off challenges from past games if we want. Probably shouldn't take everything, but we can definitely use them for inspiration.

If not, maybe a big one of those logic puzzles? Where you get a table and some info about like 5 people and need to work out the combos? Is this a thing most people know about?

Mods say yes, as long as it is completeable in that one-hour time limit we were given.

Yeah, multiple stages are fine.

Cookie clicker is the best idea to make it extremely low variance. But it might be (probably should be) banned because it requires waiting, and hardly meets the definition of a game.
