Clarification: You can bid only cents on an item, and have that be a valid bid.

------------------------
Box #9:
This upright box is perhaps three inches by three inches at the base, and nearly a foot high. It is quite light, and rattles distinctly when shaken. It latches at the top, and is not wrapped, but is instead braced securely with copper wire. A pattern of bank sacks overflowing with gold coins has been hand-painted onto the box with exacting precision.
------------------------
This imposter Box #9 has been yeeted.
In the write-up of this challenge, we produced roughly 15 box descriptions, then put them where we wanted them. It seems that a simple oversight was made in failing to remove an extra description. This is nothing weird or mysterious, or indicative of a hidden thirteenth box or something - such a thirteenth box does not exist. Prior bids on Box(es) #9 will be regarded as referring only to the proper Box #9. Please feel free to speculate about the contents of Box #9, but kindly save yourself the headache of trying to puzzle out whether this simple error is suggestive of a deeper truth. It is not.

Box 12 has been sold! If you do not have a message about it in your conf, you did not get it (and so have not used up any money). To clarify, the inventory threads are not messages about it (unless there's a post there talking about Box 12). They're just there for organisation purposes, and only contain items you already had.

Box 10:
This large box's wrapping is patterned in squares of bronze, silver, gold, and platinum. It's very light, is shut with a hatch, and is tied together with shines like diamonds when under the light that is done in a simple but elegant bow. When you pick up the package and shake it, it seems like whatever is inside is much smaller than the box itself.
Box 10 goes to Dark Rey for $14.09!

Box 7:
This box is exactly the same size, shape, color, weight, and even texture of a standard red building brick. Indeed, if not for the seam running down the length of the box, you might mistake it for having come directly from the construction site!

This pyramid-shaped box seems to bend the eye with its dizzying pattern of stripes. Approximately thirty inches on a side, the container is exceptionally heavy, but silent when shaken. The multi-colored stripes spiral upward to converge at the apex of the pyramid.
