Maggie: The results of the challenge will not affect my vote. Stop asking me questions about the challenge. (I only actually asked one) Also Maggie: Based on the challenge I think Michael is going home.
...Que?

I wish I could tell Snow Leopard to stop being so honest. Bonobo and Tortoise & Hare don't need to know that you're conflicted about who you'd choose between them, and it's just sketching both of them out.

still feels like anything can happen on star wars, which is neat. finn is pissing everyone off, and i bet they'd eliminate him if they could. snow leopard really needs to work on discretion

The Star Wars tribal is so crazy. I really don't know what's going to happen. But Tragedy has the right idea telling everyone that he's voting Dark Rey and doing the opposite, so I'm kind of hoping that it works, even though the Droids don't really deserve to go

If I had to describe one tribe as "functionally dysfunctional" it's probably Animals, to be honest.

I'm confused about the Droids' perspective, because what it doesn't seem like they are thinking through is the fact that in the event that their vote matters, at that point they would already be safe and would be casting the sole vote to eliminate. So in that case, it isn't about self-preservation at all, it's about who they genuinely want to see go home.
It's just a strange situation tbh. And it seems like Dark Rey might be going home despite being the most popular on the tribe? Just weirdness. I hope she returns.

So I think the worry there is if Plagueis manages to convince Finn about what he'd want to do, there's nothing they can do. It may be better to kick that can down the road.

Well true, but in that case their vote wouldn't matter. Their vote only matters if Plagueis and Finn split (which does seem like it has good odds of happening). I do get not wanting to be duplicitous though, and it's easier to just commit to voting Rey with both Plagueis and Finn. But still, earlier in this round they said that if they had the sole vote to eliminate, they would send Darth home, and if not Darth, Finn. And now they're in a situation where they realistically could have the sole vote and they are sending home the person who prior to these results was their favorite on the tribe.

FTR, I agree - the correct play is to get Finn to work with you. But it seems like Finn had a case of decision paralysis, so the only way to get anything to work is by working wth Plagueis to vote out Rey.

Of course you tell Plagueis to vote Rey, that's the only thing for you to tell him bc the other option is him hahaha. But you can cast whatever vote you want to cast. It doesn't matter what you say to Plagueis, especially bc the only situation where you even get to vote is probably one where Plagueis has been deceitful (or Finn but you have no way of eliminating him).

I feel for the players. I was on a four-person tribe to begin a game before and it's so boring, especially at the beginning when you are most hyped to play. Bees is absolutely right that it feels like the endgame even though the game has hardly begun.

I'm surprised how many people seem to be confused as to who is going home, like...this is not the place for a blindside at all and yet...

+1 on the "droids' vote makes absolutely no sense here" train. it would've been so perfect if tragedy's paranoia and treachery sent himself home, but alas

+1 on the "droids' vote makes absolutely no sense here" train. it would've been so perfect if tragedy's paranoia and treachery sent himself home, but alas Agreed. Even if Finn and Tragedy agree on Rey, then his vote doesn't even get revealed, so why not vote for the player he originally wanted out?
I'm also a little surprised that none of the third place finishers aren't considering a #bigmove. Sure, it's probably not worth it, but if you were going to make a big move round 1, this would be the game to do it in, right? Only two people will even know what happened, and if there's a returnee, the odds are against the player you voted out coming back in.

Exactly. I think the Droids will realize that as soon as the results come in. It really seems like they haven't thought it through and realized that the only way they even get to vote is if Tragedy votes for them. And Tragedy sending himself home would be much more satisfying than Rey going when it doesn't really seem like she's done much to deserve this considering that everyone on the tribe connected with her and wanted her to stay prior to the results. I think you could put almost any player in the game into her spot, and there's a good chance they'd leave.
