Though it is possible that the Droids doubt Finn's vote, and just want to be true to what they promised Tragedy. Finn has been extremely sketchy and burned bridges unnecessarily this round, so if that's their reason, I wouldn't blame them, but it seems like they trust that Finn is with them, in which case this vote doesn't make sense.

That could have really screwed over Ranger if Cleric had voted that way. Glad he didn't though.

I don't see why Bard's vote should be illegal? Cleric doesn't have immunity he should have every right to let Ranger just decide if he wants to.

I really like the way this swap was set up with whole tribes sticking together. I think it maintains some relationship asymmetry which I always love. Also excited that all of the Star Wars tribe is now still together hahaha, I want some drama

I liked BotW's rapid shuffle, but was personally burned by losing my footing so quickly. This should diminish the premise of "original tribe" while also giving people some solid relationships right away and keeping a good churn going.
Thanks for noticing that

Thanks for noticing that I feel this could easily have the opposite effect. For anyone in that swap you just spent 72 hours talking to the two other people you swapped with, and you are going to spend at least a round (and probably several) on a tribe with those people, so if y'all make it out, well, you likely have to stick together not just due to familiarity, but also people will be like "well that group just spent 5 - ? days together, they're probably a group". Also also, it means that if you have allies on tribe 1, all of their new allies (and your new allies) will be from tribe 2, and since these make up roughly half the game, I feel we could easily just have entrenched factionalism based on these tribes. Ofc, this entirely depends on how soon people swap and how often they happen in general. And we do get to see what happens with Star Wars Act II, which is excite.

I don't mind entrenched factionalism tbh. I like when people are in tribes for longer and feel more of a commitment to them for that reason, because it makes people working across tribal lines more exciting. When there are tons of swaps and everyone has been with everyone, then all of the strong social players just team up and it's not as exciting to watch, imo. And MS people in my experience are not super loyal to original tribes, like even in games with no swaps premerge we rarely see things play out 100% along tribal lines.
This might just be personal preference, but I like the design. I'm sure there will be plenty of swaps later to mix things up, plus players from the Hole thrown into the mix, but for now the relationships people had on their original tribes have a chance to grow instead of every round being a total reset.
