Hey Rey! Thanks for all the help with getting me through the Pictionary pages. I honestly appreciated that because it felt like everyone else was holding that close to their chest for no reason considering someone (you) had already found it.
In terms of the game, I definitely did not see you as a big target while I was in the game and I think that speaks very highly of the game you were playing right under our noses. I thought I was Dave Thomas, The Founder of Wendys and Maggie's favorite side alliance, but turns out they were passing around idol shards and giving advantages to you without my knowing! You were in with the returnees in a way I could never be! Personally, I'm not sure how you interacted with the Maroon group, but you went into that a bit during your speech so I appreciate that insight.
My first question for you is why should I vote for you if your literal power caused me to go home?? I feel like I just can't respect that. (That's all sarcasm but dang, kinda wish you didn't do that :/ whether intentionally or not!!)

REY <3 Congrats on making it to the end, you deserve it. Many people on the jury didn't see the heavier aspects of your gameplay because you were doing all of your strategizing with me and sometimes Cleric on the side. What is your single most impressive strategic bit of gameplay in your opinion, and what are all the factors you had to pull together to make it happen?in an ideal world, i could have answered this with something to do with the merge splitter, but alas. i'm gonna pick the first round that we sprang into action. the Final 8. at that point, the push on t&h had developed, and we also knew about the anti-returnee push that was being being lead by t&h and possibly also avocado. i wanted to get bard, but i didn't think i could trust any non-returnee with that idea. i was getting the sense that almost everyone was trying to use bard as a shield. it's possible i should have approached bees about it though. maybe could have made it happen without making it as obvious that the three of us were in cahoots, and needing less items. but, i digress. i saw how the tribe was splitting in different directions, and thought that we might be able to take advantage of that. i asked the other two, ''what if we just vote bard?'' looking back at the pms, i would like to make a little correction. i didn't direct EVERY aspect of those two round. grogu did chime in with the idea of using his extra vote. i then realized that with one of cleric's vote nullifiers, we would be able to have 4 votes vs whatever the other 4 votes were. and, as long as those votes weren't unified on us, which would have been a bad situation anyway, they would be at most split 3 and 1. t&h wasn't going to be voting for themselves. i also realize looking back that i had misremembered something. during this round, it was cleric that i had to reassure. cleric was worried about making things too obvious, which was a fair concern, but i wanted to make this play, and make an impact an impact on the game that i could call back to at a moment like this. and, i outlined how we could use what we would have left in the following rounds. so, that's another thing i did for the team. i kept people on board with the plan. whether it be cleric during that round, or grogu in the next when he wanted to abandon cleric.

Hello, Dark Rey! There are a lot of words that could be used to describe this game, but one of the biggest themes I'm picking up on is the idea of "control". You impressively managed to seize it after I left and it looks like you would have wrested onto it for the rest of the game if not for some item shenanigans. Can you tell me a bit more about how you managed to survive during the periods when you did NOT have control? What is it that put you here and the rest of your controlling alliance on the Jury? I think the main reason I'm the one here is because Grogu was perceived as the leader. As for why i'm here over Cleric: Cleric was perceived as the easier Hive opponent. Which might actually not be true. I had been a bit lazier about my Hive practice, and Cleric said they had practiced a lot and felt more confident. I did try to nudge them into voting for Cleric using some wifom around the prime idol, but none of that actually mattered I guess because they already knew Grogu had it lol.

Hi Rey! Congrats on making it so far. Our vote is currently undecided and we have 2 questions for you. The biggest question for you has to be, why should we vote for a returnee over the others. What do you think are the qualifications needed for a returnee to win? Do you meet those qualifications? Why?
It is hard for me to believe you had control of the later stages of the merge given your description of our exit round. To our memory, we fought to save ourselves and it was only after us actively reaching out to Bees, Grogu, and you that we got the votes to save ourselves. What happened that round from your perspective? How much control did you have?-C-3PO and R2 Q1. I kind of went over this in the opening speech. The qualifications for a returnee to win is going to heavily depend on the circumstances of their elimination and their return. My elimination was in a situation that, as you of course know, was a tough one. None of you, me, or the Tragedy were inactives like existed on some of the other tribes. And, there were only three options. I hadn't had the time to build my relationships at the start of the game like I usually do. I thought I had good relationships with both you and Tragedy. It was unfortunate for me that Finn won immunity as he was my preferred elimination there. As for my return, I was in a situation where I hardly knew anyone, but I put in the effort and made enough connection to survive. I think the fact that I am here despite coming in as an outsider who could have very easily become a consensus vote is an impressive feat. Q2. I had wanted a Bard vote from even before the TC started. I was then hearing rumblings about how it was going to probably be one of you or Bard. Avocado was acting like he didn't really care who, but it was clear he wanted you, but was masking that in the idea that you would be the easy vote because bees was upset with you or something. Early on though, when I talked to Bonobo, they were clearly in favor of a Bard vote, and there was even an idea he told Grogu about apparently try to pull off blindside vote split onto Bard. I danced around the subject at first with Bees, but I was able to learn that that was his preference as well in actuality. I had been talking to you, but hadn't yet directly tried to push for you to vote for Bard because I was worried that you wouldn't want to betray him, but then there was that moment where Grogu told me he heard that you wanted to go after a returnee. He then specified that he'd heard it from Bard. I saw that as probably an attempt to drive a wedge between you and us to get the votes on you, so this lead to the conversation where I ended up telling you that I thought bard was pushing for you. I believed that there was something going on between Maggie and Bard, so it wasn't until later in the process that I told her that I thought the votes were going for Bard. I didn't have absolute control there, or even a great deal of control, but who does in a round that large? I was an influence though, and helped make it happen. I was a proponent of it, and met up with other proponents to make it happen. The rounds where I had the most control came later.

First of all, congratulations on making it here. I am proud of the game that you played! You are right that I trusted you more than I trusted Grogu or Cleric, and while I was sad when it became clear that the trust was no longer there, I respect that your game was better served by allies apart from me.
I do need to work out who to vote for, however, and I see in these threads a whole lot of talk of "control" and "power" and.. oh heaven forbid.. "moves". All sorts of faffing about! And quite frankly I couldn't be arsed with that rubbish. (And on the topic of faffing about, I have had to post the same segment in three different threads! The calamity!)
What I would like to talk about is... tea!
I would like you to compare your experience of this game to a particular type of tea, and tell me why you chose it. You may not even drink tea, but no matter! I dare you to be creative! Think outside the cup! There is no right or wrong. The less talk of "moves", the better!

The less talk of "moves", the better!i don't drink as much tea as i used to. not sure why why. i think i'd like to get back to it. anyhow. if i were just picking out some tea in general, i would pick peppermint. that's my go to default. it's perfectly nice and comforting to me. but, then my experience of this game would be like if someone slammed into me causing me to spill my tea everywhere. right from the start of this game, i was not able to play like i would prefer. i missed out on the early game survivor experience where i slowly get to meet a bunch of different people. i then had to get by with the little bit of tea still left in the cup (aka. the few people who would actually talk to me in the hole(although, snow leopard was like the equivalent of like three people not sure how this fits into the metaphor anymore XD)). then, someone came and dunked a deluge of tea on me, and i've been spinning in circles since so, maybe it's time i drink some tea in a normal fashion whatever that means.

Nah, I think in large part most people have a very good understanding of what happened in the game here. With all the twists and just how much everybody talked about everything to everybody, there's only a small handful of actual secrets. Or we're waiting for somebody else to ask questions before we do. This just feels like an FTC where all three of you had very clear gameplay so there's only so much follow-up we the jury are looking for in order to vote.

My final question!
Rey, what is it about your game that you think makes it more worthy of a winning vote than Avocado's game? What about T&H's game?
