Hello. I have not read opening statements yet and am coming into this with an open mind.
That being said while we have all been voted out, that doesn't mean we aren't entitled to respect. If at any time starting now you refer to me by anything other than "Dave Thomas, Founder of Wendy's" or "Dave Thomas, Mayor of Ponderosa" you will automatically lose my vote.

Hey Rey, I am very happy to see you here. I did tell you Avo was likely to win challenges if you kept him, seems I was right . There have not been many returnees who have ever made it to FTC, and certainly not ones who had such an impact on the entire merge while playing seemingly from the bottom as you did. So, be proud. I liked the way you used different fonts for the different sections of your speech, very fun That being said, I do think there's some things I'm going to want some clarification on. You've certainly earned your place here. Waiting for mod feedback, then I'll be here with actual questions instead of casual nice.

Hey Rey!
You did a fantastic job in this game but my vote remains far from decided. A lot of your strategies hinged on items, which you clearly used very effectively. I also see that you utilized information in the game to your utmost advantage, always tracking things down and keeping an eye out for those idol pieces. I have strongly believed that returnees status should not affect the vote in the end and I continue to believe this.
So my first question to you! From a strategic standpoint, I feel that I understand your game. I want to hear more about the social.
What was your social strategy throughout the game? Also, how did your relationship with Grogu colour your strategy for the merge?

Bard did kinda steal my question, so I'll wait for your answer til I have more specifics on that front, in the meantime: What were things that YOU did and only did, that your trio of returnees can't claim were their actions? I know you all worked as a unit, but I am curious about how you split up the work.

Also, how did your relationship with Grogu colour your strategy for the merge?yeah. i probably didn't talk enough about that aspect. my general approach to my social game, what is most natural to me, is to give off a "genuineness" and straightforwardness that makes people more inclined to trust me. when i talk to people, even when i'm not being totally honest, i often on some level believe what i'm saying in some way. i tend not to make total fabrications. i say things based on some version of the truth, even if it is a distorted version. like, when i was trying to get the droids to turn on you the round you needed to use your idol, i was initially talking like i didn't want you to go, which was false, but some part of me empathized with the stuff you had been saying before about how you kept loosing all your dnd pals. i also have some eccentricity to me that might make me likeable idk. as for grogu, initially that he was just one person that i had formed a relationship with because i saw that he had been on the outside of something. but, when cleric came around, as i mentioned before, i decided i wanted to go with this returnee idea. my existing relationship with cleric helped strengthen my relationship with grogu through this commonality. grogu was also a source of information because of his connections.

I know you all worked as a unit, but I am curious about how you split up the work. The votes and item plays at F8 and F7 were my decisions. As I mentioned in my statement, Grogu even had wanted to abandon Cleric at F7. I made sure that didn't happen. I also believe that Maggie trusted me more than Grogu or Cleric (correct me if i'm wrong).

REY <3
Congrats on making it to the end, you deserve it.
Many people on the jury didn't see the heavier aspects of your gameplay because you were doing all of your strategizing with me and sometimes Cleric on the side. What is your single most impressive strategic bit of gameplay in your opinion, and what are all the factors you had to pull together to make it happen?

Hello, Dark Rey!
There are a lot of words that could be used to describe this game, but one of the biggest themes I'm picking up on is the idea of "control". You impressively managed to seize it after I left and it looks like you would have wrested onto it for the rest of the game if not for some item shenanigans. Can you tell me a bit more about how you managed to survive during the periods when you did NOT have control? What is it that put you here and the rest of your controlling alliance on the Jury?

Hi Rey! Congrats on making it so far. Our vote is currently undecided and we have 2 questions for you.
The biggest question for you has to be, why should we vote for a returnee over the others. What do you think are the qualifications needed for a returnee to win? Do you meet those qualifications? Why?
It is hard for me to believe you had control of the later stages of the merge given your description of our exit round. To our memory, we fought to save ourselves and it was only after us actively reaching out to Bees, Grogu, and you that we got the votes to save ourselves. What happened that round from your perspective? How much control did you have?
