Hey Dark Rey, congratulations on getting to F3! From being the first voted out, it's an awesome achievement.
I liked your opening speech, but I think something was missing.
What do you think your biggest play was in the Hole?
I also liked the play-by-play synopsis of your game,
But why shouldn't the other two contestants win?

My final question!
Rey, what is it about your game that you think makes it more worthy of a winning vote than Avocado's game? What about T&H's game? But why shouldn't the other two contestants win? these two questions are similar. first off. both of the players i face here deserve to be here and played games worthy of victory. however, these are some factors that give me an edge. keep in mind, this is entirely based on the shipwreck onward. i do not know enough about the rest of the game. T&H did indeed do a good job of slipping under the radar for a while. I recognized as much and was worried about that. However, up until I made myself and my companions blatant targets at F8, I was more under the radar than them. I could have possibly continued to go that route if I had let T&H go down that round. The fact that T&H would have gone down without our intervention shows that they had gained too big a profile. I, on the other hand, had avoided being a real target the whole time. At shipwreck, I had people standing up for me making the choice between Monk and Cleric. When Avocado tried to target me, that was prevented by people who didn't want me to go. And when T&H pushed the dangers of the returnee group, instead, the votes turned onto them. People did not see me as a threat until it was too late. avocado did a great job of making it all the way here despite being a huge target helped by his challenge performances. where he lacks is in the quote unquote moves department. not that he had no impact, but i think he had less of a role in shaping the game compared to me and t&h. the biggest thing that sets me apart compared to the other two is the narrative i represent. i most capture what was special about this game. number 1: this game was distinctive in the impact returnees made. i have a great underdog story. i had to climb my way up from the bottom at the shipwreck. number 2: all the items floating around. i took advantage of these to propel myself to the end, and make my mark on the game.

Hey Dark Rey, congratulations on getting to F3! From being the first voted out, it's an awesome achievement. I liked your opening speech, but I think something was missing. What do you think your biggest play was in the Hole?Good question! I didn't say much about the Hole because it has less relevance to most of the jurors here. But, not to you of course! I have two answers. One is flashier and is all about item plays. The other is more subtle and socially based. I'm counting R.I.P. Snow Leopard as an extension of the Hole. My first example is that terrible, horrible, no good, very bad round where you, me, and michael had to duke it out (made me cri). We all had a bunch of items from the vending machine which made things very complicated, but I creatively played my vote steal on myself to cancel out yours, and used a vote nullifier to force a tie. and, then I went and won the Hive game (saddest Hive game I've ever played). What I'm more proud of though, is the round where Zero was the head of household. This was the first round that lacked easy inactives to vote out. At this point, there was the trio of the three of us who had been there from the start, and I also had developed a very close relationship with Snow Leopard. Monk was also there as Snow Leopard's ally who had come down after her. This was a tricky situation. I would have preferred to take out Monk here because I had the least relationship with them at that point. But, my number one priority was keeping the trio intact. We were all worried about Zero nominating two of us. So, I subtly tried to hint that I was close with Snow Leopard in my conversations with Zero. I wasn't worried about Zero nominating me and Snow Leopard because I knew I could rely on you and Michael to vote Snow Leopard. And, I wasn't too worried about Snow Leopard winning veto there, because we were coordinating on that challenge to prevent that. It worked out, and Zero saw Snow Leopard and Monk as a more threatening pair here, and decided to break that apart. While I would have wanted to vote out Monk there, Snow Leopard unfortunately sacrificed herself because she didn't want to take down her ally. And so, our pm thread rests at a mere 43 pages.

beyond that, i think if you're looking for effort, there were points where she didn't really put a lot of thought into her messages, and she's (as far as i know) the only person in the merge who didn't submit for not just one, but multiple challenges and consistently took days off where others were giving it their all just to stay in and keep fighting another day. maybe that's an unfair view because she was going through real life stuff, but a lot of other people were able to continue throughout real life stuff and play their heart out in this game with no problem at all. (note: i think dark rey is really chill and i dont have any complaints about her as a person at all) fair point. i'm surprised no one brought this up before know.

FTC can be hard and often has a bunch of negativity or stress with all the questions that are given, so let's change it up a little. Having awareness of your own perception is very important, but being aware of other players is just as important so I am curious how well you got to know the other people in this game. (Yes I will be asking all 3 of you this, in the same way, deal.) Without using your opening speech or torchwalks, I'd like you to list the following things about each of the finalists as well as the jurors: What do you admire most about their gameplay? What do you admire most about them as people? What is the funniest/best moment you had with them?

Wolf and I had 16 pages and we were with each other for 4 rounds. She's pretty freaking active. The only person to beat here was t&h which is a bit unfair as a hydra and also made it like three times deeper into the game.

What do you say to this argument other than fair point? Do you feel it's valid to critique your bouts of inactivity/short PMs or do you think other aspects of your game make up for it?Personally, I do think activity is very difficult to achieve consistently throughout a Survivor game and it does have a strong correlation with getting far into the game. I don't think I'd base my entire vote on some nebulous concept of "effort," but do think it's worth probing into if you feel comfortable sharing.

Great answer, those two were probably the most tense moments in the hole, and the item plays on Michael Cera was a MESS to play around.

Hello Rey!
I think you've been a little firecracker here! It's exciting to hear your perspective because I always felt like you were pretty clammed up throughout the game. Clearly that was part of your strategy and I think it paid dividends here.
I would like to hear about the emotional aspects of your game. My final question goes to you!
Do you feel that any of your actions in the game were fueled by emotion? Are there any points where strategy and emotion collided and you had to make a choice? Lastly, what do you think you'll take out of this game from a personal standpoint, if anything?

FTC can be hard and often has a bunch of negativity or stress with all the questions that are given, so let's change it up a little. Having awareness of your own perception is very important, but being aware of other players is just as important so I am curious how well you got to know the other people in this game. (Yes I will be asking all 3 of you this, in the same way, deal.) Without using your opening speech or torchwalks, I'd like you to list the following things about each of the finalists as well as the jurors: What do you admire most about their gameplay? What do you admire most about them as people? What is the funniest/best moment you had with them? Dave Thomas, Founder of Wendy's I wish I had been able to see more of your game, but in the time we had, you did a good job with using your idol piece as a means to show trust. In general, you did well at coming off as trustworthy. No moment stands out particularly. Generally, it would be talking about how excited we are to have each other. That kind of stuff always feels good.
C-3P0 & R2-D2 You two did very well as new players! I missed most of it, but you were able to work your way to not only making the merge, but making it there with a strong position. My favorite moments would be from the beginning of the game when we were able to get know each other more casually and calmly. That's something I missed out on with most people. Thank you for the Baba is You recommendation btw. I've been enjoying that game a lot!
Bonobo The fact that it took a bad tribe split to take you out means something. You went home earlier than you should have. You wouldn't have likely been the vote otherwise. You were situated better than that. My favorite moment with you would be bringing news of Snow Leopard. It was a great starting off point for our conversations, and it was nice to talk to someone who shared an appreciation for her.
Bard You did a great job of getting yourself in a position so many people were wanting you around even after you made a successful idol play. I liked sharing music with you starting in the separate tribes. It was nice to be able to spend more of my attention with you there even though it didn't go anywhere gamewise.
Maggie Similar to Dave Thomas, Founder of Wendy's, your strengths lie in being easy to talk to. You were able to establish a lot of solid relationships. My favorite moments with you would be when we initially got to know each other. I feel like we were on a similar wavelength there.
...Bees? You played an excellent under the radar game! I think you had a really good chance of winning without the disruption we caused. You always managed to not be at the center of attention. I enjoyed talking to you casually about how we saw things standing in the game.
Cleric You had a lot of tenacity. After all, you managed to come back into the game, not once, but twice. And, even though you were in the difficult position of being a double returnee, you did not despair, and continued on trying to push on as far as you could. My favorite moments with you was the pizza party in the hole. Those were such nice times that I look back on fondly. Back when we had our other friends as well. I miss those days.
Grogu You were great at going out and gathering information about what was going on out there. You were probably the player who had the best knowledge of the game state out of anyone. I liked when we had time to relax and type up large posts about cats, the color green, and Star Wars. In an ideal world, I would be able to maintain conversations like that all the time.
Avocado Having read your arguments, I would agree that you did well in contributing to Dave Thomas, Founder of Wendy's downfall. Despite some of the more blatant moves I made, I appreciate subtler things like that. My favorite moments were when we bonded over the pictionary thing, and played tic-tac-toe XD.
The Tortoise & The Hare The fact that you were the only one to take the threat of the returnees seriously is meaningful. And, you did well in forming relationships outside of the four that kept you safe from being targeted when the focus of the game shifted to you four. I liked talking to the Tortoise about new players and old players. I have a moment for the Hare that is a secret I can't reveal until after the reveal.
