Our final question will go to you as well. Do you think Avocado has a chance of winning this game? Why or why not? How did this influence your decision to go to the end with him and how much control over that did you have?-C-3PO & R2 Your questions are very... densely packed why, I feel the need to break them down into multiple questions! Oh but that's on me, not you~ 1. Can Avocado win? That's up to you guys! But I think out of all the people in the game, we have the best chance at beating him.
I believe out of all the people in the game, Avocado was our best matchup for the endgame, since we made all the same moves (except we were the ones who came up with them), and I think we have better relationships with the jury considering no one has posted any spoilered rants in our thread yet. But there's still plenty of time to get your rants in against us, jurors! Smoke em if you got em! 2. How did this influence your decision to go to the end with him? I want to go against people I can beat in the end.
3. How much control over that did you have? More than I expected to have.
Initially I was worried about it being impossible to get to the end with Avocado because of how visibly he was playing. Fortunately, when we got down to F6, we were the last person in the game who Avocado felt respected by, and because of that we were able to go to the end with him rather easily. Since no one else thought to give him a chance, he was loyal to us, and we were loyal back to him in return. I believe we had a lot of control over that: with only one item and one person who trusted us, we were able to take down the alliance with 7+ items that wanted him gone next.

T/H I don't think you have enough smilies in that post. Surely you can include more.
I swear I have questions for you, but I think you're probably the finalist I know the most about considering there were things we did together and talked about. And even the parts you and I didn't talk about super much, I had it summarized by other people in the jury or it was already things I expected you to be doing because logically and strategically it completely makes sense from my understanding of you as a person and a player. I might not need to ask you anything specifically tbh. So expect actual questions from me later.
But also, tell Mr. Toad I'm happy he made it here too.

I will say you definitely played me like a fiddle and I did not go home really enjoying that experience. Why did you blindside me, and was that always the intention for that round?

I mean, I was fine with voting out Bees until T/H actively pushed for you to go home. I thought my hand was forced at that point and didn't have a ton of agency considering I felt like anyone that went home that round was going to be a rough draw.
Both Bees and Avocado were my allies that I strongly wanted to keep in the game, and both of them wanted each other gone on that exact round. I knew avocado had the prime number idol since we co-ordinated to get it. If you had gotten on the same page as Avocado, it would have spelled disaster for me and bees, since Avocado would have happily voted out my ally Bees with you, and Avo had the prime idol too, so he really could have taken total control of that round if he wanted.
In order to stop that from happening, unfortunately we had to make it a blindside.

Ahhh Tortoise and Hare. I did for a while see you as the biggest threat to my game, and after all that, each of us getting a missed shot at the other, it was not even you that voted me out! I enjoyed your presence in the game immensely, nonetheless, and your enthusiasm for.... everything? ... was especially infectious.
But yes... onto vote-deciding things.
I see in these threads a whole lot of talk of "control" and "power" and.. oh heaven forbid.. "moves". All sorts of faffing about! And quite frankly I couldn't be arsed with that rubbish. (And on the topic of faffing about, I have had to post the same segment in three different threads! The calamity!)
What I would like to talk about is... tea!
I would like you to compare your experience of this game to a particular type of tea, and tell me why you chose it. You may not even drink tea, but no matter! I dare you to be creative! Think outside the cup! There is no right or wrong. The less talk of "moves", the better!

When I was sick or feeling bad, my mom told me that Chamomile tea is supposed to be relaxing and good for stress.
Playing as a hydra this game dramatically reduced the normal stress I would feel when playing these games, since I always had someone to talk to if things weren't looking good. And even if they were looking good it was nice having nightly (morningly for tortoise) meetings where we could talk about... ummm..... [trying not to say moves] uhhhh.... things. together. Being accountable to someone else in a face/manager relationship also discouraged me going off and doing anything too wild that could get me in trouble and helped us both take an objective view of things.
I don't know if Chamomile tea really helps you look at things objectively, relaxedly, and with a clear head, but I'm sure if you scroll deep enough into google there will be a website that claims it does that.

Alright, I'm starting to feel like I have a decent understanding of what your (and everyone else's) games were all about. I would like you to choose the one word that embodies the game you played and tell me why this word describes your game better than any other word.

Hey T&H!
What is the one think you think that you did better than Avocado? Better than Rey? What is the one unique thing that makes your game more worthy of a vote for winner than theirs?

To Tortoise, with Hare being the more public facing of the two, what were the moments that really made you feel like you had to come out and make your presence known? Where do you think you shined in this game?

I think you played a good solid game, and you deserve to be here.
So why shouldn't the other two contestants win?

OUTWIT!
Going up against an alliance with enough items to force the results of 3 (maybe 4) votes, while being constantly pinned as a member of a big dangerous group required us to get crafty with how we played. I think most of our major moments and strategies in the game fit under the category OUTWIT. Selling ourselves as being on the bottom of the maroon 4 allowed us to get out of the alliance without ever backstabbing anyone. Turning the tables on the most powerful item I have ever seen in survivor (the merge splitter) and taking down the alliance with like 7 items using only a single item (the javelin) I believe also falls under this category.
I think this word describes our game better than other words like OUTLAST (everyone in F3 can say this, and Avo I think embodies it far better) and OUTPLAY (we did train really hard in hive, but that wasn't as flashy, and we never went on an immunity run). There are some other words that could describe parts of our game but I think OUTWIT is the best description of how we set ourselves up to survive early/mid merge, stayed a step ahead of the impending returnee takeover, and secured ourselves a desirable endgame.

Hey T&H!
What is the one think you think that you did better than Avocado? Better than Rey? What is the one unique thing that makes your game more worthy of a vote for winner than theirs? Our next three for one combo meal (discount on me): 1. What is the one think you think that you did better than Avocado? Demonstrating an understanding of the survivor paradox. The survivor paradox is this: "It doesn't matter what you think of anyone, it matters what they think of you." Practically, this means we were always open to work with anyone who was willing to work with us, we played very forgiving, and didn't hold grudges. I think while much of Avocado's game was shaped by a few key rivalries (Bees/Grogu/more?), we didn't hold things against people, even if they previously attempted to blindside us. Specifically, we were able to work with maggie and even pushed for her to get the idol at F7 when she needed it when she tried to blindside us the round prior. 2. What is the one think you think that you did better than Rey? Using the merge splitter to our advantage 3. What is the one unique thing that makes your game more worthy of a vote for winner than theirs? For both answers, I would say our play on the space tribes round. In a round where we absolutely should have either lost our best shield Bard (VIA rey) or our ally Bees (VIA avo/bonobo) or our ally Avocado (VIA bees), we managed to achieve a fourth outcome which few/no other people desired. The fact that the tribes were intentionally chosen and we didn't just get a lucky swap adds to our case.

FTC can be hard and often has a bunch of negativity or stress with all the questions that are given, so let's change it up a little. Having awareness of your own perception is very important, but being aware of other players is just as important so I am curious how well you got to know the other people in this game. (Yes I will be asking all 3 of you this, in the same way, deal.) Without using your opening speech or torchwalks, I'd like you to list the following things about each of the finalists as well as the jurors: What do you admire most about their gameplay? What do you admire most about them as people? What is the funniest/best moment you had with them?
