Thanks Hare, appreciate the answers! I actually think Bonobo's question really highlights something interesting about the hydra slot and illustrated some things for me that I couldn't put into words, so thanks Bonobo!

To Tortoise, with Hare being the more public facing of the two, what were the moments that really made you feel like you had to come out and make your presence known? Where do you think you shined in this game? Hi guys, as usual a lot busier than Hare and mostly chatting with him on Discord. But I'm here for this.
1. I think the base of what I did was at the start of the game, where I helped build a lot of the relationships that lasted until the end - Avocado, Grogu, Bees, ...
2. There were also some decisions where I took the lead backstage and Hare executed our plan after discussing it: - Making an F2 deal with Droids - Forming a solid relationship with Grogu - How to deal with the fallout from the failed Maggie vote. - Building a strong relationship with Bees
3. I might be forgetting things, but these were some of the moments where I stepped in to work on relationships: - I feel like I put in a lot of work with Bees, because I felt like Bees was our ticket to the end. Unfortunately, that didn't happen, but I do think I had a part in how strong our connection was. - After the vote where Bard was sent home and we got a number of votes. I went to Maggie to make it absolutely clear that we needed to not target each other that round so neither of us would go home. - The round Bees went home, Hare wasn't feeling very comfortable talking to Bees. I came in and sent Bees a heartwarming message, which resulted in Bees telling us he would give us the Javelin.
I'll be the first to admit that Hare carried our Hydra. I would never have made it as far as I did without him. But I do think I contributed a lot too. Even if it was mostly behind the scenes.

It wasn't the message that made me leave you the Javelin. I was already going to do that. If i couldn't get to the end with either Grogu or you like I had been planning for a while, I may as well give you both the best chances I possibly could and Grogu didn't need my item to do it, you did. But your messages were always heartwarming, it's true.

I think you played a good solid game, and you deserve to be here. So why shouldn't the other two contestants win? Avocado:
As strong of a personality Avocado was at the start of the game, that's how chaotic he was near the end. I never thought Avocado would have a shot to go even near the end but because of how he played late merge, he was perfect for us to take. I think he misplayed or had to be convinced not to misplay a number of times: - Too focused on getting out Bees, like during the Bonobo vote and the vote where Bees went h - When Maggie got voted out, chose to play the idol for himself which guaranteed us to be in a 3vs3 situation(not sure Avocado was really aware of how the vote would go though) - Forced a 1vs1 with Bees that gave the returnees a 3vs2 advantage. - Had to be convinced hard to take part in the F5 play. Avocado wanted to put all his money on winning immunity and didn't want to give the idol to Grogu. Took us a lot of convincing to get him to do it
Rey:
I'll start with the easiest one: Rey got voted out and wouldn't be here without a Returnee twist. I also think Rey was massively outplayed by Grogu, who I think would have obliterated both other returnees if they had made it to the end. Rey also got complacent near the end and felt like the game was played at F5, before we launched a javelin at Grogu. On top of that, Rey probably had one of the most powerful items in the game, the Merge splitter. Rey designed the tribes to get out Bard, but instead, we outplayed them and got our way by successfully throwing and voting out Bonobo that round.
All in all, I think they were both outplayed and outwitted by us. And that's whey they shouldn't win.

I just wanted to point out that I took over when Hare was having a hard time talking to you at that time. Happy to hear you've enjoyed my company as much as I enjoyed yours though. Thanks Bees!

I love the different perspective between heads, it's refreshing to have a different voice of opinion in different posts.
I loved your answer for Bonobo's question.

Hi TH! I have no more questions for you both. This is not a bad thing! I think you both have been pretty clear in your answers and your opening speech about your game. I love the clarity without going too overboard on your answers. Simply, I just have nothing else to ask yall.
Best of luck and thank you again for your answer!

FTC can be hard and often has a bunch of negativity or stress with all the questions that are given, so let's change it up a little. Having awareness of your own perception is very important, but being aware of other players is just as important so I am curious how well you got to know the other people in this game. (Yes I will be asking all 3 of you this, in the same way, deal.) Without using your opening speech or torchwalks, I'd like you to list the following things about each of the finalists as well as the jurors: What do you admire most about their gameplay? What do you admire most about them as people? What is the funniest/best moment you had with them?
Dave Thomas, Founder of Wendy's:
Your knowledge of hamburgers was the best non-game related discussion I had in the entire game, and the fact that you sent me the wendys grill skills video and it actually influenced my dreams the next night was absolutely hilarious and I have never had anything like that happen in a game.
Droids:
It was really fun to work with you guys and make plans with you even if we came up just short of saving you. I really like how our PM thread ended up being extremely long since we had like 6 pages of just quickchatting back and forth about how we were doing the spam challenge. I really enjoyed automating the boring stuff with python with you guys.
Bonobo:
My favourite moment we had was when we were supposed to duel you with monkey hands and then you let us borrow yours but we had to dry clean them before giving them back. It had me actually laughing out loud. I really admire how you were playing a better UTR game than we were and I think if you hadn't been screwed by the tribes twist you would have gone really far. By the way: you're going to want to read our torchwalks thread postgame. I have a special surprise for you . Ask for Hare's torchwalks.
Bard:
Given a full knowledge of the game I find it absolutely hilarious how long you were able to survive despite being targeted by the people with all the items since the beginning of merge and having them LITERALLY RIG THE TRIBES AGAINST YOU and yet we still managed to save you somehow. I will wonder about what would have happened if that one TC wasn't on valentines day for some time now. I think you had an excellent social game and were always a joy to talk to.
Maggie Smith:
My favourite moment was easily us going from rivals to instantly working together. Your adaptability is what I admired most about your game. Of all the people we weren't working closely with in middle merge, you were my favourite to talk to. Also I was going to send this as my opening PM to you but decided against it: I think this decision might have been for the best.
...Bees?:
I think it's no surprise that you're the one to ask the positive question here, since I think you were also the most positive person throughout the game. Even having our doubts about where your loyalties were at times, we always felt good about you in general.
Cleric:
I wish I could have gotten a top 5 finish in a 24p game as a new player. I think you did a really good job of making it far here and your story arc of making it through two redemption islands is something I really look forwards to seeing when I get access to all the other forums after the game.
Grogu:
We did what we agreed to do, keep each other safe until the end until our plans were no longer compatible. I don't think I've ever played this loyal to someone and had it reciprocated back in any game, ever. You saw me agonizingly try to shape this game so that we had a compatible endgame together by taking out returnees who weren't you, but it just didn't work out.
Dark Rey:
We didn't get to know you very much since you weren't around much to talk to us. I think the best moment we had was right at the end of the F5 tribal when we could just relax a bit and talk about pizza.
Avocado:
You already know, man. Playing this game with you was an absolute roller coaster and we alternated between FULL CAPS CELEBRATION MESSAGES and high tension moments. I'm super happy to be a part of your record high finish, whoever you are. I know you said you were excited to see who we were and we are also excited to see who you are.
Sorry this post is a bit short. I've got stuff I actually need to do today. This is probably the last you're hearing of me - the Hare - until FTC. Tortoise will provide a closing speech for you all, so I just want to say to everyone that this was a great time, and I look forwards to seeing who you all are
